As a native of Alabama, and daughter of the Deep South, Wynn Malone knows the value of a good story. She grew up in a community of storytellers, and her admiration of their stories and her love of ideas inspire her to write. Wynn now lives in Kentucky and works in the field of natural resource management. She believes the best part of her job is providing opportunities for people to establish a relationship with their natural environment. She often brings this goal into her writing as well. Wynn lives with her partner and a revolving assortment of cats and dogs. When she is not working or writing, she can usually be found hanging out with family and friends, watching women's basketball, or catching a local baseball game.
