Wren Taylor can’t remember when they started writing their own stories. Their lifelong appreciation for gothic literature, mythology, folklore, and the performing arts helps them focus on world-building and character development to create an immersive ambiance for their readers. Writers they look up to include Washington Irving, J.R.R. Tolkien, Gaston Leroux, and Tina May Hall. They earned their MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida, and they continue to work and live in the Orlando area. When they’re not writing, they’re most likely pleading with their sewing machine, playing with their cat, and/or daydreaming of what they’d serve the judges if they were on The Great British Baking Show.
