His employment history includes positions in the start-up division of a global Top 5 retained firm and two Los Angeles-based Top 20 firms, as well as a partnership in his retained search consultancy firm. The author has been recognized for recruiting top-level board, CEO, and functional candidates, adding significant valuation growth and revenue to public and private client organizations. He is an expert at sourcing, recruiting, and placing candidates, initially reluctant to seek an outside assignment. William has been married for over 40 years and has three stepchildren and seven grandchildren. He is passionate about using his career experience to empower other recruiters with his first book, which breaks down passive-candidate recruiting and building a first-class referral database by following a time-tested methodology.
