Will Payne is a speculative fiction author of the fantasy series, A Blasphemy of Bones. He has spent most of his adult life in northeast Asia. After graduating with a degree in linguistics and anthropology, he set off to explore the weird, wild world. Over the years, he hiked across Kyushu, slept on the Great Wall of China, piloted a boat down the Mekong, and taken part in a Korean exorcism. He has survived typhoon Maemi, the Ji-Ji earthquake, and a full contact Karate tournament. Now retired from a life of misadventure, he scrawls tales of other worlds in the wee hours of the night. When not writing, Will haunts back-alley noodle shops, mountain paths, and fish markets. He lives in South Korea with his family.
