Turning Big Ambitions into New Realities

Vip is a book author, CEO, and Socratic advisor to boards, investors, CXOs, and executive teams, helping them catapult their organizations and projects to new performance levels. "Socratic" means Vip doesn't provide tips and techniques but has senior leaders think differently about their aspirations and challenges.

Central to his company's approach is having clients identify and break up limiting belief patterns that may be handcuffing and holding back their enterprises. In doing so, clients create unique strategic advantages and get coached in turning them into reality.

He is a genuinely exceptional thinker whose thought leadership has been featured in Forbes, INSEAD Knowledge, Duke Corporate Education’s Dialogue Review, and other top periodicals.

As the originator of the Project Flight Path model, Vip (and his team and suitcase) have traveled across dozens of countries (35 at the last count), working with executive teams to unlock their corporate Black Boxes and achieve results beyond the predictable.

His first book, Gorilla in the Cockpit, co-authored with Thomas, is the product of over a quarter of a century’s investment in tackling and turning around highly complex projects across wide-ranging sectors such as Banking, FMCG, Government, Digital Technology, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Mining, Renewables, and large-scale civil infrastructure, with a total aggregate value exceeding USD 70+ billion.

Of all the global megaprojects Vip has been involved in, his most confronting one was on a micro-scale. That of performing live on stage, in a band, in front of 5000 people, at the South Bank next to the River Thames, London, England. His approach to overcoming his gorillas (a flurry of self-defeating thoughts, total fear, and sheer panic) as he stood in front of an eager crowd, waiting to be entertained, has been instrumental in shaping his perspective on leading change in multi-dimensional settings.
