Vanessa was born in Newark, New Jersey and soon returned to Liberia West, Africa where her family originated. She spent her adolescent years in Liberia and returned to the US where she grew up and settled on the East Coast. In her huge, lively family -she is the youngest of 10 children. She enjoys bringing people together -whether they are couples, families, or friends and is drawn to topics around relationships and connections. She produced a popular podcast dealing with relationships along with two friends. Her experiences have taught her the good, the bad, and the ugly as it pertains to relationships, from marriage to divorce, to modern and even online dating. Vanessa currently lives in Maryland, with her two children, where she is actively involved in her Church.
