Vajragoni is a contemplative, and eremitical monk of the UnbornMind Zen tradition, devoted to the Lankāvatāra Sūtra. His path reflects the old Daoist counsel: in youth one embraces worldly duties; in later life, the inner path becomes primary. Now retired, he lives a life of quiet asceticism, exploring the luminous reality of the Unborn Buddha Mind. Since 2011, he has curated UnbornMind Zen, a blog devoted to Buddhist scripture, philosophy, and contemplative practice.
