After graduating from Southwest Baptist University in 2012, he earned a Masters of Divinity from Baylor's Truett Seminary in 2015. Tyler married Ashley in 2013 and became a devoted father to their children, Kennedy and Cale. He has served in various pastoral roles since 2012 and most recently launched a new campus of Eagle Creek Church in Warrensburg, Missouri, in 2023.
