Tsvi Jolles is the Silver Medalist of the 2025 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards for Tangerines (Pre-Teen Mature Issues). He is the author of six books for young readers and adults. His work often centers on children and families navigating change, written with emotional precision and a strong inner voice. He is drawn to moments of transition—when certainty loosens and imagination steps in to make sense of the world. He lives with his wife and son in a suburb about an hour north of Atlanta. When he’s not writing, Tsvi finds inspiration in travel, nature, meditation, swimming, and walks. He enjoys listening to and watching stories in several languages—including Italian, Spanish, German and French—more as a listener and observer than a speaker. Readers can now encounter reflections on his hometown and immigrant life in Three Cacti Under a Magnolia Sky, a literary fiction memoir—partly biographical, partly novelistic—that captures the small, human details of building a life in a new place. He loves connecting with readers and reading their reviews, staying in conversation with the imaginations that bring his stories to life.
