Trudy Morgan-Cole is a writer, teacher and mom living in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She writes mostly historical fiction, some based on Biblical characters including Lydia: A Story of Philippi, Esther: A Story of Courage, Deborah and Barak, The Wise Men, and Yosef's Story, all published by Review and Herald. Her other historical novels include The Violent Friendship of Esther Johnson (Penguin, 2006) and By the Rivers of Brooklyn (Breakwater, 2009). She teaches English and social studies to adult learners.
