Born and raised in a rural Michigan town, Tricia Arnold's earliest companions were her pets—and the ghost stories, monster movies, and historical tales that shaped her imagination. She penned her first stories at the age of ten on her aunt’s electric Smith Corona, unknowingly beginning a lifelong journey into crafting worlds rich with mystery, romance, and the uncanny. World-building remains one of her favorite storytelling approaches, where sprawling sagas unfold and flawed yet noble characters fight their way through fate. The Cintarzia Series, including Draekkon’s Fire, stands as her longest tale to date, while her paranormal romance novel Moon Cast invites readers into a world where love and the supernatural collide. Meanwhile, her first cozy mystery, The Lost Lake Mysteries: Plastic House twists through eerie secrets and suspense, pulling readers deeper into its haunting mystery. Tricia rarely works on just one project at a time. Her creative mind thrives in the chaos of multiple stories brewing at once. Beyond writing, she brings her visions to life through illustration, planning and designing her own book covers with the same depth and care she gives to her narratives. Sometimes, the cover takes as long as writing the book itself—proof of her commitment to creating fully realized artistic experiences. When Tricia’s not lost in her stories, she’s dreaming up the next eerie twist or crafting another piece that connects her audience to the strange, the beautiful, and the unknown.
