Tracey Hill is a Tasmanian author whose narratives are deeply entwined with ideas of place, history, and culture. Inspired by her passion for history, classics, art, and a touch of STEM, she crafts tales that explore the possibilities and impossibilities of the past, present, and future. Her stories often delve into the intersection of human experience, gender roles and the natural world, drawing on unique perspectives of landscape and cultural heritage.

When she's not immersed in creating the worlds of her characters, you might find her painting, reading, or simply enjoying the breathtaking views of kunanyi / Mount Wellington from Mumirimina Land / Clarence City with her beloved pets. A lifelong lover of storytelling, Tracey aims to captivate readers and spark their imaginations with her work.
