I’ve always believed that a good book should take you somewhere—into another time, another place, another person’s heart, or even into a future we haven’t imagined yet.

I’m Tony Glez, a bilingual author writing in English and Spanish, and my books reflect many of the things that have fascinated me throughout my life: history, love, human relationships, travel, technology, mystery, and the endless possibilities of the future.

My journey as an author has taken me across very different genres, but every book begins with the same simple idea: I want to tell a story worth sharing.

My passion for American history led me to write my two-volume George Washington series, George Washington: The Rise of a Revolutionary Leader — Volume I and George Washington: Triumph and Liberty — Volume II. Through these books, I wanted to go beyond the familiar portrait of Washington and explore the experiences, struggles, decisions, victories, and failures that helped transform a young Virginia gentleman and soldier into the leader of the American Revolution.

But history is only one part of what inspires me.

I’ve also explored love, suspense, temptation, and the unexpected turns our lives can take. Crime Leads and Love Shadows combines romance, crime, secrets, and suspense against the unforgettable atmosphere of San Francisco.

In A Love Like Ours Is Touching My Heart, along with its Spanish-language edition, Cuando el Amor Toca al Corazón, I explore the emotions and connections that can change the direction of our lives. In Love With My Wife and Seduced by My College Sweetheart ventures into more complicated territory—the tension between commitment and temptation, memories of a first love, and the choices we make when the past suddenly finds its way back into the present.

Travel has been another important part of my life and writing. Escape from Your Routine and Visit West Coast National Parks grew from my appreciation for getting away from everyday routines, hitting the road, and experiencing the extraordinary landscapes of the American West. Sometimes we need to leave the familiar behind for a while to remember just how much there is to discover.

And now, my writing is taking me somewhere completely new.

My upcoming science-fiction project, Signal Zero, brings together several subjects that have fascinated me for years: technology, communication, mystery, humanity, and the question of what might be waiting beyond the boundaries of what we currently understand.

Signal Zero is more than a new genre for me. It represents the next stage of my journey as a storyteller—a chance to imagine what could happen when an extraordinary signal challenges our assumptions about technology, intelligence, communication, and humanity’s place in the universe.

One of the things I enjoy most about being an independent author is having the freedom to follow curiosity wherever it leads. One book may take me into the American Revolution, another into the complexities of love, another onto the open road, and the next into the unknown reaches of science fiction.

They may seem like very different destinations, but to me they are connected by curiosity about people: what we believe, whom we love, the choices we make, how we respond when everything changes, and what we might discover next.
