Tom Doyle is the author of four highly-acclaimed books – The Glamour Chase – The Maverick Life Of Billy MacKenzie (1998), Man On The Run – Paul McCartney In the 1970s (2013), Captain Fantastic – Elton John’s Stellar Trip Through The ‘70s (2017) and Running Up That Hill: 50 Visions Of Kate Bush (2022). He was also the co-author of the early years memoir by Madness, Before We Was We (2019). As a journalist and interviewer, his work has appeared in MOJO, Billboard, Q (RIP), Sound On Sound, The Guardian and The Times.
