Thomas R. Harris is the author of Essential Leadership: 65 Lessons Every Leader Needs to Know, an Amazon #1 New Release and #1 Bestseller in Educational Leadership, Nonprofit Management, and Business Management Science. The book has been adopted as a college textbook.

He has held leadership roles since his teenage years — and spent most of that time, by his own admission, not really understanding leadership at all.
