Tom Ascol is a graduate of Texas A&M (BS) & Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, PhD). He has served as a pastor since 1978. Since 1986 he has been the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. He has also taught systematic & pastoral theology in several seminaries & colleges, including as a Teaching Fellow in the Nicole Institute of Baptist Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. He is the President and one of the founders of Founders Ministries, a ministry committed to the recovery of the gospel and the reformation of churches. Tom has written and edited ten books and contributed to many more. He has written for magazines and theological journals including The Founders Journal, Tabletalk, Banner of Truth, Expositor, Reformation Today, & Southwestern Journal of Theology. He & his wife, Donna, have six children. They also have eleven grandchildren with more on the way (DV)!
