After graduating in Latin and Ancient Greek at the University of Amsterdam ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐——.๐— . ๐—ฉ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ท๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ (1982) moved to Rome. She has worked as a secretary in a law firm, as a tutor in Latin at an American study center and as a tour guide in the Vatican. She has co-written two travel guides about Rome and now works as a teacher for the Dutch School of Rome. In 2023 an established Flemish publishing house published her first historical novel. ๐™ƒ๐™š๐™ฉ ๐™ก๐™ž๐™š๐™™ ๐™ซ๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™– talks about the children who, in 1944, were born in the bed of the pope.
