By day, I wrangle two energetic little boys who are convinced that bedtime is merely a suggestion. By night (and during naptime, and sometimes while hiding in the bathroom), I craft stories of magic, murder, and morally complex romance. My debut novel marks the beginning of my journey into Why Choose Dark Academia Fantasy Romance. A genre that lets me combine my love of atmospheric settings, complicated relationships, and characters who make questionable decisions in beautiful libraries. I live in the UK with my childhood best friend turned life partner and our two sons, who are still blissfully unaware that their parent writes kissing books. My partner is my biggest supporter, first reader, and the reason I remember to eat actual meals instead of surviving on tea and plot bunnies. When I'm not writing about morally grey love interests in crumbling Gothic Academies, you can find me reading everything I can get my hands on, pretending I'm going to start that new hobby, and explaining to my children that no, the characters in my books are not based on people we know.
