Terry Witte is the author of the Sylvie the Wonder Husky children's book series, inspired by his real-life best friend, Sylvie, a Siberian Husky with bright blue eyes, a curious personality, and a love for adventure.

Drawing on his professional experience working in children's books and education, Terry created the series to share Sylvie's adventures with children and families through heartwarming stories filled with curiosity, family, friendship, and fun.

Many of the people, places, and experiences found in the books are inspired by Terry's own family and their adventures with Sylvie.

The series begins with Sylvie the Wonder Husky and the Forest of Fireflies, where Sylvie's curiosity leads her on a beautiful nighttime adventure. Her adventures continue in Sylvie the Wonder Husky and the Thanksgiving Adventure, a holiday story inspired by a family Thanksgiving getaway.

When Terry isn't writing about Sylvie, you can be sure his Wonder Husky is never very far away—probably already looking for their next adventure together.
