Born in the Midwestern United States, Terrill moved with his family to the smog and hustle of Los Angeles when he was 12. In his teen years, Terrill became immersed into the Southern California surfing subculture. Over time, he went on surf adventures in California, to Mexico and Hawaii. In college, a biology major took a right turn, transforming into a lifelong career in art and design. Terrill’s passion is narratives—creating story through writing, art, and illustration. He currently lives in Carlsbad, California with his wife of 35 years.
