I believe I was born an addict. I heard someone once say, “If you’re an addict, drugs will find yo ass.”

Well, drugs found my ass when I was 9 years old and I fell madly in love with them. By 14, I had done almost every drug on the planet, but I was married to crack and OxyContin. When I was 17, I filed for divorce and I’ve been clean ever since.

This book is a compilation of my real-life diaries of my first year clean.

As I write this, I’m 34 years old — clean for 17 years. I’m a successful business owner. I’m a kinda sorta popular adult film actor/producer (that’s where my stage name, Teddy Tarantino, comes from).

I’m truly living a life I only ever dreamed about. I still go to meetings, I still have a sponsor, I still work steps, I still sponsor men and I still do service.
