Born and raised in Arizona, I now serve with Young Life out of Spokane as the national director for generational impact for Young Life as well as an associate regional director for the Mountain West Region. Since 1998, I have worked directly with adolescents and young adults, still serving as a volunteer Young Life leader. I completed a Masters of Christian Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and Doctorate of Ministry at Phoenix Seminary, where my doctoral thesis was in sharing the gospel with Generation Z. I have been married to filmmaker W. Ashley since 2005, and we have two sons. Our family enjoys watching major league baseball and are major fans of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Our favorite vacations are to Disneyland or being back in Arizona (often catching a ballgame if we can!) I enjoy mornings, reading, and running, though these days it is more about trying to avoid injuries rather than breaking any personal records. I'm still learning how to be a working mom, figuring out how to balance ministry and motherhood.
