Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by! My name’s TaNisha, and I am an aspiring author. I’m so glad you’re here. So, I get asked a lot about when I started writing. Well, it all goes back to when I was a kid. My mom was always the one with my head in a book, but I often found myself wishing the stories I read were more realistic and relatable to my own life. It was a little frustrating, to be honest. But then I figured it out: I didn’t have to just read stories—I could write my own. Writing became my escape, my happy place where I could create entire worlds and characters that felt real to me. I guess as I got older, I figured out that stories are more than just an escape. They’re what connect us. They can make you feel things and see the world in a different way. That’s really why I write now: to share a piece of myself with you and hopefully make you feel something, too. I love writing all kinds of stories, from ones that are really personal to others that have a little bit of magic in them.
