T. Watley is an author, hair stylist, veteran, wife and mother of five. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. As a young woman with many creative talents and an unclear vision on how to use them, T. left home at to enlist in the US Army. This helped her escape the crime and drug infested streets of the city she called home, opening her world to new people and experiences which have impacted her writing greatly. After meeting her husband and starting a family, T. completed her service, deciding to use some of her pinned up creative energy and acquire a cosmetology license. T. went on to have an 18 year plus career in the field. Being a veteran, hair stylist, wife and mother has afforded her a full life of travel and enrichment. Needing to express herself in a different form, T. decided to expand on her first love of writing and publish her first novel, A Fantasy Real: When Life and Lust Collide and it's sequel A Fantasy Real: The Afterburn. Writing has always been what she has used as an outlet and her ultimate dream is to see her work on the silver screen.
