I was born and raised in California and currently live in Nashville, TN. I am the co-author of "Finding Your Way After the Suicide of Someone You Love," and have also collaborated on 4 additional books with Dr. David Biebel. I have written for magazines and other publications, and have developed curriculum for several organizations. I enjoy speaking at workshops, retreats, and conferences on a variety of subjects, and have appeared on several radio programs. I am also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in grief counseling and have a private practice in Nashville. I love volunteering and have volunteered with three non-profit organizations in Nashville: Music for the Soul, The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, and End Slavery Tennessee (educating professional organizations about human trafficking). I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Nashville Area Association of Christian Counselors. I enjoy reading, writing, music, and bird watching.
