She catches them often and finds delight in where they take her. If you ring her doorbell and no one answers, she is most likely walking another hour on the beach or in her kitchen cooking something that can't be left unattended - baking and cooking are her favorite therapies. Traveling extensively in many states and countries, she learned important life skills and lessons but is most grateful to have found her favorite seats among family, friends, and students. Suzanne, Professor Emerita of Nursing, is a board-certified adult psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist and a certified nurse educator. She has provided numerous scholarly presentations on mental health and wellness topics and was a primary presenter at the National League for Nursing Education Summit. She has enjoyed a lifetime career of offering hope in academic, hospital, and mental health settings. Suzanne and her husband, Garry, reside in the Midwest and have two married sons.
