I've been writing for as long as I can remember. It's the kind of thing you know you are meant to do because you can't NOT do it for long. But my first book was born naturally, with a story that was so far out to me, it had to be told. My area of expertise is communication. Still, I had no idea my Higher Sources would tap me for a job that would require the use of a very different kind of communication: telepathic communication! As a television news producer, director, writer, and talk show host, I would soon find myself disillusioned by my journalistic profession, seeking work to inspire me. As a result, the world of telepathy opened up to me and in walked the animals. I've been a student and a teacher of metaphysical phenomenon for more than 30 years, although that work was usually on weekends and 'on the side.' Not anymore. Now I'm a professional Animal Communication Specialist and a Pet and People Psychic Counselor. The first time I met a pet psychic, she was a guest on my talk show. She helped me understand the traumatic past of my beloved Chow-Chow Rusti, changing the dog's behavior immediately. The experience inspired me to learn the skill to bridge the communication gap between humans and their animal friends. And I learned from the best: my mentor is Animal Communication Pioneer Penelope Smith. My first book, "Dispatches from the Ark: Pages from a Pet Psychic's Notebook," was born of the intrigue and excitement of using this new skill in the earliest days of my practice. As a psychic counselor, I've helped hundreds of people identify and resolve issues facing their beloved pets, take a look into their probable future, contact loved ones that have passed on, and sort out life's toughest circumstances. Educationally, I hold a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Communication from California State University, Fullerton.
