Susie Cullen is an English children's fiction author who specialises in illustrated dinosaur fiction books for ages 3-10 years old. Susie's latest release "Dinobites" is a joyous, illustrated childrens story-recipe dinosaur book packed with bright, fun images, as illustrated by Chay Winter. The dinosaur-themed childrens book is an easy-read featuring dinosaur facts, dinosaur recipes, dinosaur colouring pages and even a brand new dinosaur song "Roaaar like a dinosaur!" Released in the Summer of 2023, the Dinobites book features brand new dinosaur characters including Asha the magical Chef, Blaze the young Raptor, Nessy the Loch Ness Monster and little Roary the T-Rex! Human children Emily and Mo from the original Roary/Covi dinosaur stories return to interact with the dinosaurs and demonstrate the dinosaur song actions! During the coronavirus lockdown of 2020, Susie joined forces with two young illustrators (Chay Winter who was a 19yr old art student and 10yr old Kaitlyn Powell) to publish the first storybooks in the 'Dinosaur in My Pocket' series, 'Covi, the little green dinosaur' (now retitled 'Roary the little dinosaur') and 'Covi, the little seaside dinosaur' (retitled 'Roary goes to the seaside'). The first three books are all set in the lockdown period whist the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the world. Whilst the people stay at home, the magical creatures come out to roam...! The third book in the series illustrated by Chay Winter is entitled 'Covi, the little Christmas dinosaur' (now retitled 'Roary saves Christmas). This is a magical tale in which Santa Claus is isolating and cannot make his usual Christmas Eve trip! Of course, our little hero steps in to save the day. This book features a real-life heroine - the little quadruple amputee Harmonie-Rose Allen from Bath, in England as herself thus helping to promote inclusivity.
