I want to introduce the 'better lands' dystopian drama series! It is targeted to be a 5 books series. Currently, the first 3 are in print, kindle, & audio. But first, a little about me. I'm Susan Clawson, the Author (and now one of the Producers of the upcoming TV series), and am excited for you to begin the journey! I am a true New Englander who grew up in northern Vermont. I went to a high school that was referred to as "cow valley high" since it was in the midst of farmlands. Believe me, cows surrounded it! The college I attend was nestled in the foothills of the green mountain state, with no bright light and glitz surrounding it. That was back in the days of no cell phones and the internet, but believe me, we found enough things to do that kept life interesting! I started writing poetry and short stories during those times, basically for my eyes only, well some friends and family were privies to it as well. For nostalgic reasons, I wish I could reread it all again, but the material is long lost from my many moves before I settled, married, and had 3 children. During the years of single motherhood, I wrote and published the start of a sci-fi 'time travel' trilogy which I never completed as life sent me in a different direction. Years later, and still amazed it happened, I reconnected with my first high school sweetheart on classmates.com, and we eventually married and moved to Massachusetts. With all the kids grown and out of the house, I had the urge to write again. Due to the pandemic restrictions, what a great timeless topic to pick but a current one that everyone could relate to, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
