Steve was a Police Officer in Derbyshire for over 30 years, spending over 25 years of that service a Detective. In his novels he brings that real life experience to the reader through the his portrayal of vivid characters and fast moving story lines, whilst interweaving societal issues such as domestic violence and discrimination through the plot lines. "When I'm writing I like to keep the reader engaged as much as possible with the characters so that they want to keep turning the page to find what happens to them. This enables me to develop the character's personalities as well as being able to surprise the reader with unexpected twists of fate." Steve has published all three novels of a trilogy based in and around the Derbyshire Dales. "An Accidental Death" was his first venture into writing and publishing. "The feedback I got from my first novel was absolutely amazing and i was really worried that the second novel would not be received as well. I was so relieved when I published the second novel "The Burden Of Evidence" and the feedback was just as good if not better!" I have now published the final part of the trilogy "The Anger Of Men" and hope that everyone likes it as much as the first two. I have no doubt that whatever they think of it will be reflected like the first two novels in the KDP reviews." After retiring from the Police Steve qualified as a Lecturer, teaching Criminology in Colleges, as well as HR Law for a large multinational company.
