Steve Weinberg has spent his life selling and helping others sell better, more, and faster. He recently led the Accuity sales team to new sales accomplishments for twelve years. Accuity is a British-Dutch technology company that is now part of Lexis Nexis Risk Systems and is a RELX subsidiary. It provides anti-money laundering and electronic payment solutions to financial institutions and corporations. While at Accuity as a salesperson and simultaneously as a manager of a team of salespeople, Steve closed the largest sale in the company’s history. Steve sold Accuity’s products to Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, eBay, PayPal, Google, Facebook, Costco, Silicon Valley Bank, Intel, Prudential, Wyndham Worldwide, all of which were not previously customers. Steve has closed over $500 million in new business throughout his career. Steve has over three decades of leadership experience in sales, including Vice Presidencies at Dun & Bradstreet Software (www.dnb.com), AC Nielsen (www.nielsen.com), Solcorp (then part of EDS, now HP) and as a Senior Manager at Deloitte and Touche (www.deloitte.com.) He is an expert at building, guiding, and sustaining high caliber sales, and creating exemplary standards in account management. Steve led many sales kickoffs and introduced formal sales training at several companies. A few of Steve’s awards and recognition: • Has posted over 20 articles on how to increase your sales on LinkedIn.com and other sales publications. • Top salesperson at McCormack & Dodge each year in sales, before being promoted to Regional Sales Manager, and at Accuity twice. • Top regional sales manager at McCormack & Dodge five times before being promoted to Vice President of Sales • Last three years of sales performance versus quota: 2018- 152%, 2017- 279%, 2016 – 287% • Presidents Club for exceeding quota attainment 16 times • Certified Public Accountant, Arizona, and Illinois • Received National Association of Accountants “Certificate of Merit” for article published in Management Accounting magazine Steve currently serves on the Board of the Mental Health Association of Greater Chicago and previously was a public library Trustee and Treasurer for ten years. Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics / Business Administration from North Park University, Chicago, IL, and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago. Steve has taught Economics as an adjunct professor in the MBA programs at North Park University in Chicago and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, IL. He is married and has two adult children. Steve is an avid Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears, and Bulls fan.
