Steve Watkins is an award-winning author who writes to encourage readers about pursuing intentional quests and taking responsibility for a deeper knowledge of who they are, and what they believe. His first book, Pilgrim Strong: Rewriting My Story on the Way of St. James, recounted the inner journey of his 500-mile pilgrimage across Spain. He and his wife, Dana, live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas where he is the founder of Tranquility Base Retreat Center for Writers and Thinkers, and is a staff writer and columnist for The Stone County Leader. He loves chicken and dressing, barbecue, sweet iced tea, and ice cold beer.
