Steve Lummer was born on the east coast of Iowa, where he could see the Mississippi River from his childhood home. He is the president of the Outdoor Nations Network, a non-profit ministry that supports and resources pastors and ministry leaders across the United States. He is also the president and self-appointed “chief cook and dishwasher” of Trailhead Tacos, a ministry catering to hikers, mountain bikers, climbers, and trail runners. Steve is a U.S. Missionary with the Assemblies of God. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and is continuing his adventure theology education through Yellowstone Theological Institute in Bozeman, Montana. Along with his wife, Brenda, Steve has dedicated most of his life to ministry through church planting, pastoring, and serving people in various roles. He is also the director of several ministries, including Outdoor Nations Network, Trailhead Tacos, Desert Fathers Collective, and the Campfire Collective—a ministry that brings leaders together for outdoor adventure and restoration. Steve enjoys mountain biking, canoeing, rafting, and hiking. He and Brenda continue to make Prescott, Arizona, their home.
