Stephen J. Scott is a memoirist, RAF Regiment veteran, and lifelong storyteller whose work blends service life, family history, and the quiet resilience found in ordinary moments. Born in Dhekelia, Cyprus, and raised across military communities from Singapore to the UK, he brings a unique global perspective to every page.

His first memoir, Bugger It, covers the years 1977–1984 and has reached 205 sales to date. The second, Crack On, continues the story from 1984 to the present day. Together, they form the opening two volumes of a planned three‑book series exploring the humour, hardship, and humanity of a life shaped by the RAF Regiment and the people who mattered most. Stephen writes with honesty, warmth, and a sharp eye for the details that make a life story worth telling.

Now based in Cambridgeshire, he continues to develop new memoir projects, including a prequel exploring early service life, training, and the long‑wet waits that defined a generation of soldiers, sailors and RAF Regiment Gunners.

Alongside the Bugger It trilogy, Stephen has also begun writing for children — first to help young readers understand loss, and later expanding into a magical world of adventure and heart. His first children’s book, Sir Nathan and the Clues of Love, has been published, though it is currently shared only within his close family while he perfects the series for future release.
