Stephanie Giese spent fifteen years writing about real-life trauma for national publications before finally deciding she'd rather create something that made people smile. In 2025, she began writing and publishing cozy romantic comedies and discovered that giving readers a soft place to land by writing about hard topics and harder bodies was exactly where she belonged.

Today, Stephanie describes her brand as "cozy chaos." Her books bring humor and heart to stories about people navigating messy lives and complicated feelings. As an experienced mental health advocate, she takes realistic representation seriously. Her books are beta read by licensed mental health professionals, allowing her to explore difficult subjects without losing the warmth, humor, and happily-ever-afters Romance readers deserve.

Before turning to fiction, Stephanie's nonfiction work was featured by HuffPost, Good Morning America, Parents Magazine, and the Today Show. Her parenting humor essays have appeared in three anthologies, including the New York Times bestselling I Just Want to Pee Alone. Her 2021 memoir, All I Never Knowed, chronicles more than a decade navigating the American mental healthcare system while fighting to find help for a child in crisis.

Stephanie's transition into fiction began with the North Bay series, a collection of small-town romantic comedies that includes Out of Left Field, Right as Rain, and Way Off Base. Her work is perfect for readers who enjoy themes like found family and second chances!
