Stefanie has always been fascinated with the concept of magic in real world settings. She loves creating contemporary fantasy stories. She was born and raised in the beautiful county of Derbyshire, UK which became the inspiration and setting for her first books. She is trained as a Special Educational Needs Teacher and now works in the disability sector helping families to understand and access autism supports. Stefanie lives in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand with her husband and two cats. When she's not writing, Stefanie enjoys swimming, growing her house plant collection and reading.
