Srikanth Merianda is a developer, entrepreneur, and investor with over 28 years of experience as both employee and employer. Early in his career he worked for Convergys, Nortel Networks, and Blackberry as a Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Architect on mission-critical projects. He has since founded and grown multiple companies spanning IT and healthcare staffing, business process outsourcing, and software development, including an IT staffing and technology firm serving clients across the U.S. and Canada, an offshore back-office operation in India, and CloudSource HRM, a workforce-intelligence and job-exchange platform. He has guided each of these businesses through start-up, survival, turnaround, and growth.

Srikanth also helps other businesses get ready for AI. Through Shronos AI he assesses where automation genuinely fits an organization's operations, and through Sangra AI he leads the hands-on implementation once that assessment is done. He is a certified Advanced RPA Professional across UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism.

He is still a passionate programmer and an enthusiastic learner of new technology, and writes about starting, running, and growing an IT consulting business from the position of having actually done it. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Mississippi State University.
