My name is Simon Sprock. I am born in Germany, but see myself more as a human being than belonging to any specific nationality. I am working as Author, Blogger and Leader in Finance within the Internet Industry in Berlin. What can I tell you about me? Yes, I am an optimist, still. Even after seeing all the crazy things, the wars, dictatorships, populism, refugees, fake news, and extremist violence out there. Also, some personal challenges might have fought against my positivism. But at the end, nothing can keep me from being positive, from standing up after falling. Being positive is a choice and it helps me in life, a lot. It helps me to be successful and to surround myself with good people. But what is my personal story that might influence my point of view negatively? In June 2016, I was diagnosed cancer. Usually it should only be a matter of months for me to recover. It was a comparable harmless type of cancer in the beginning, but the tumors metastasized all over my body, unexpectedly mutated and proceeded to grow. Suddenly I was an isolated case. My life was actively and permanently at risk for over a year. I had huge tumors around my neck, inside my thorax and my belly. My living conditions were definitively not the best during that time. I was fighting against it and stood up every morning, ready for the next battle, ready to take the next hit. Different therapies and surgeries successfully helped me, so I can return to an even better life. What helped me in getting better? Beside the support of my wife, family, and friends, as well as the great work of the physicians, also the writing about Motivation, Inspiration, Self-Development, and Self-Improvement helped me to stay strong grow stronger all that time. So, I started a blog, called Coachiendo. This blog is targeted to become a platform for people in difficult situations, with lack of motivation. It shall give the user the opportunity to get inspired to take their life into their hand and change it with more motivation then before. It helped me, at least. Out of the Coachiendo approach, I had the idea to write stories in form of books with continuous teachings. It tells one large story and shall reach the reader on an emotional dimension. On this dimension, it shall inspire him or her about topics in Motivation, Self-Improvement, Team-Leadership, Economic Basics, Social Criticism and much more. It is hard to hide.
