Shelley L. Levisay is an attorney and author. By day, she fearlessly defends accused criminals in the courtroom, but unleashes her creativity by night. Her legal thrillers and true crimes stories keep readers on the edge of their seats. When she's not busy with her legal and writing endeavors, she's a devoted momma to her cats, Phantom and Shadow, and her rescue dog Rosie. When not trying cases or writing, she signs in choirs and plays the piano Shelley is the Shawnee Litigator. She owns Shawnee Litigator Law and Press and her office is located at 425 E. Main St Shawnee, Oklahoma. She has the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System ("OIDS") contract for Pottawatomie and Lincoln counties, meaning she oversees all of the court appointed cases. She primarily focuses on criminal defense, having starting her legal career as as a prosecutor. Despite having been a former domestic abuse prosecutor, she fell victim to domestic violence and nearly lost everything, but she survived and focuses on women's empowerment.
