Shel has worked as a director and producer of audiobooks for publishers, authors and Audible. He's also worked as a teacher, a broadcast program director and a reader for The Minnesota Talking Book Network. A former member of SCBWI, Shel's writing projects include screenplays, adult fiction and children's stories. He likes small towns and hiking in northern Minnesota, but writing is one of the great joys in his life. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with his wife and a cat. Solomon Arenz is Shel's co-author, collaborator and grandson.
