Sharon Phennah, graduate of Rutgers, Camden New Jersey, devoted her first career to canine coiffure in the clients' home, observing dogs and humans in their "natural habitat" in New Hampshire and during her twenty-year vacation from winter in North Carolina. After her parents' passing, she retired, built a small home in the woods of NH and resides with her Corgi and cat, enjoying writing, genealogy, and photography as the spirit moves her. It is still the same great story, a mix of seriousness and humor, surprising and unexpected events, all similar to the "business of living" we experience at any age. The book focuses on the experiences that come with aging and utilizes her years of canine and human contact as she weaves a tale of three mature women friends supported by the Greek Chorus of their talking animal companions.
