A native Californian, Shane Chapa served with the U.S. Army in the Middle East. He later worked as a licensed contractor and now calls Phoenix, Arizona home. With a love of words and story-telling skills inspired by a 1st place prize in his 6th-grade statewide writing contest, Shane believes in connecting with his readers on the most vulnerable and sometimes painfully candid levels.
