Shane Blackburn is a public tax accountant as well as an independent author. He lives just outside of Chicago where he works and writes his stories. He enjoys creating stories that range from dark mystery thrillers to sci-fi action adventures. He also likes to insert the occasional plot twist or two. Shane has many hobbies outside of writing. During his downtime, Shane will watch a wide range of TV shows and movies to help him unwind. Despite being a slow reader, he enjoys reading from authors like Stephen King, JN Chaney, and Timothy Zahn. Shane is also a big fan of his Chicago sports teams (especially the Bears and the Bulls). He is also a comic book nerd. His favorite comic book characters are Batman, Superman, Wolverine, and Spider-man. Although Shane works as a full time public tax accountant, he plans on writing and publishing more books in the future. He has a drive for creating stories and characters for people to connect to. The more he writes, the more he learns to become a better author. So stay tuned because more stories are on the way.
