Shana Thornton is an admirer of life's simplicities, but she chose to be a writer, a profession that complicates everything if you tell people. And, complications in tow, Shana has to claim her profession like anyone else. She wants to travel as often as possible with her husband and two daughters, but she reads and writes more than anything. Luckily, her daughters like books, libraries, and notebooks. Shana earned a Master's in English from Austin Peay State University. She served as Editor-in-Chief for hercircleezine.com, a women's online magazine dedicated to arts and activism. She has written artist and author interviews as well as fiction and features. Multiple Exposure is her first novel. She's currently working on a second novel--Poke Sallet Queen is forthcoming in 2014.
