Serene Allison grew up in New Zealand and Australia before settling with her family outside Nashville, Tennessee. In the 1990s, she and her sister Pearl launched their careers in the Contemporary Christian Music world, signing with Forefront Records and began touring extensively. As Serene stepped into motherhood, she became deeply committed to understanding God’s design for health, whole foods, and the rhythms that support vibrant family life. Her pursuit of sustainable wellness ultimately birthed Trim Healthy Mama, cofounded with Pearl, which has since grown into a global movement. Their approach centers on balanced eating, food freedom, and embracing the full spectrum of nourishing foods God provides—without restrictive or extreme dieting.
