Sean Bw Parker (MA) is an artist, writer and musician specialising in painting, poetry, cultural theory and justice reform. After gaining a Masters degree in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts in 2003 he lived and worked in Istanbul for ten years, has published a number of books and albums, performed at or curated festivals, given a TED talk (Stammering and Creativity, 2013), and had paintings displayed at London’s South Bank Centre, Chelsea Art Society, Bath Fringe and a number of other exhibitions. He founded and ran the Seafish arts and music venue on the West Sussex coast in 2016, and won 14 Koestler Arts Awards between 2019 and 2026, including two Platinum awards for play The Wolfstadt-Wire in 2020 and book Compelling Speech - The Stammering Enigma in 2023. He has contributed to Time Out Istanbul, Louder Than War, God Is In The TV, Inside Time, Yeni Safak and many more publications, was art and content editor of Tor Times from 2019 to 2021, and and has been editor of False Allegations Watch since 2022. He has received endorsements from Nick Cave, Ricky Gervais, Scott Adams, Kristin Hersh and Jeremy Deller for his paintings, had songs played on BBC Radio, and his 11th book Panopticon (poetry) was published through Hunsbury Press in 2025. He was born in Exeter in 1975 and currently lives on the West Sussex coast.
