Scott Norman was born in Peoria, IL. After studying Film and Poetry at Webster University, Scott moved to the town of Bethel, AK, 90 miles from the Bering Sea. He lived in Alaska a total of 12 years before returning home to IL to tend to his ailing mother. His first novella, The Vampire Collector, finished #15 in the 2016 World’s Best Story Competition. He also publishes the Poetry For series, which he describes as Shel Silverstein for adults. Scott has been to over 250 Alaskan Villages, crossed the Arctic Circle 20 times in one year, and has been so far out on the Aleutian Chain he was in the Hawaiian Time Zone.
