Scott has a master's degree from Tulane, has run his own businesses, led teams of 100s, served in the Peace Corps, been married for 18 years, and has just completed his fifth novel. Scott lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife, Jennifer. He has published Kuhn Ling (Castle Keep Press), the first in a YA book series, and Too Big to Fail (Seaboard Press), an adult humor book. In 2019, Scott noted that mental health in the world had reached epidemic levels, with rage, hate, and depression being the primary conditions. The world desperately needs peace and a roadmap to get there. With this in mind, he penned the first two novels in a planned series of seven, French Fry Heaven and Peace Frog. Set in present-day America, the stories focus on Sage, Peace, Huey, and their multicultural crew of adventure-loving friends as they battle a slew of despicable characters who try to prevent them from delivering the solution to world peace. While comfortable representing the two characters with pronounced mental illnesses, Scott felt it was imperative to ensure he represented all characters honestly, which is why he enlisted the help of over 20 sensitivity editors. French Fry Heaven has been written as the first in the Peacestrain Series, and the second book, Peace Frog.
