I'm Scott Moore (E-RYT 500, YACEP, RYS). I've been teaching yoga as a career since 2003 and Yoga Nidra since 2008. I love to write and teach about yoga and Yoga Nidra and have loved sharing my online Yoga Nidra teacher training with students around the world. One of my favorite assignments over the course of my career was writing Practical Yoga Nidra: a 10-Step Method to Reduce Stress, Improve Sleep, and Restore Spirit. Another highlight was creating the curriculum for and being a professor of an accredited class, Yoga for Wellness, at Westminster College for 9 years. I have also really enjoyed created programming and curriculum which incorporates yoga and Yoga Nidra for many hospitals and treatment facilities. I've even worked with many world-renowned performers and athletes to achieve optimal performance using Yoga Nidra. I co-owned, ran, and taught at two yoga studios. After four years of fighting to keep them open, they finally closed. When they closed, one of my wisest teachers, who had flown in for a week of workshops, leaned in close to me and said, "Congratulations!" Little did he know how much he was right on! I have loved being free to travel to teach, mentor other teachers, build online curriculum, and offer retreats around the world. I love to write and especially to share stories. I've been pleased to be featured in or write for Yoga Journal, Mantra Magazine, Origin Magazine, Medium, Conscious Life News, Sivana East, and my own blog at scottmooreyoga.com/blog. I love to travel, trail run, and play the sax with jazz and rock bands. I also genuinely love to offer retreats, trainings, and workshops. I currently living with my wife and son in Southern France.
