Sarah Woehler Hale is a marriage and family therapist and author whose work centers on relationships, personal growth, and meaningful change. She works with individuals and couples navigating recurring relationship patterns, major life transitions, separation and divorce, and questions about what they want next.

She is the author of How to Change Your Life (2022), a practical guide informed by her own experience rebuilding after the end of a decade-long marriage. Through personal stories and concrete tools, the book explores how to move through uncertainty, develop resilience, and create change that feels aligned with one’s values.

Sarah holds an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University, as well as an M.A. in English Literature and Gender Studies and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Maine. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and evidence-informed, with attention to the personal histories and relationship patterns that shape how people experience change.

She is based in New York City.
